Slug traps - Night 5

No hunting for slugs last night as we were away but the beer traps kept on working anyway. The beer in the three chamber trap is starting to grow mould. Perhaps as it is more enclosed it warms up more and makes the beer go off quicker. I will summarise the results from the traps after night 7, and then try something new as a lure. A honey and yeast mixture is meant to be work.

Trap 1: single pot (sunflowers) - 1 slug.

Trap 2: single pot (runner beans) - 1 slug.

Trap 3: three chamber trap (lettuces) - no slugs.
