Slug traps - Night 1
I went out last night and checked two of the three beer-filled slug traps and the sunflowers that one of them was guarding. Two slugs were in the trap by the sunflowers with one climbing up the outside, and three slugs were on the sunflowers. One slug was in the triple chamber trap by the lettuces but not in the beer. This morning I made the final tally below.
Trap 1: single pot (sunflowers) - 5 slugs.
Trap 2: single pot (runner beans) - 4 slugs.
Trap 3: three chamber trap (lettuces) - no slugs. (so that visitor I saw last night left without having a beer)
I'll keep checking over the next few nights and post results.
